Monetary donations to the club can be made online or by check. For online donations, please visit the UT Online Giving page. In the Gift Area field, select “Student Affairs, Office of the Vice President” and in the Sub Department field, select “RecSports-Sport Clubs (please specify)”. Then write “UT Sailing Club” in the Special Information box.

All boat donations to UTSC must begin with a letter of intent to donate which should include as much detail as possible about the prospective donation. Please include:
- your name and statement of intent to donate to the UT Sailing Club
- class, length & beam
- condition and year
- hull number and other identifiers
- current location
- list of included items & equipment
- estimate of total value of all included items
- your signature
This letter should be mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Once we have received the letter of intent, we will follow up with all necessary forms and documentation. As a sponsored student organization, UTSC shares the tax status of the University of Texas at Austin. Donations may be tax deductible.
All boat donations to UTSC must be approved by the UT Development Office and the Austin Yacht Club. This process can take up to six weeks before donations are given final approval and can be taken by UTSC. Unfortunately, UTSC will not be able to accept all boat donations due to space and financial limitations.
